This jewelry is inspired by an ancient necklace
combining semi-precious stones
and gold spacers. In ancient
Egypt many semi-precious
stones were believed to possess
magical powers. Gold, which
never lost its lustre and
seemed to reflect the power and
glory of the sun, was regarded
as a divine metal. .
The highly polished Carnelian gemstone measures approx. 6mm in diameter and is encompassed by two 24kt gold plate caps. These earrings feature shepherd's hook for easy wear.
